Well, here I am again.

For those small percentage of people who actually keep up with my blog, hoping for some kind of update since my review on Final Fight Streetwise, I can summarize what has been going on since then in these few words.

Work.
School.
Work.
School.
Relative passes on...
Work.
School.
Work.
Work.
Getting laid off of work.
Demotivation hits me hard.  Oh so hard...
School.
School.
My PS3 is now dead, and due to lack of job, that means lack of funds to pay for it's repairs.
Demotivation not making things better.
School.
Going out of town this week.

So yeah, things has been rough since then.  A combination of thinking where the heck am I going to go from here, and how I am going to start dedicating myself to finally work on the videos I've been wanting to work on for a long time.  And yes, I am jobless for the time being.  Fortunately, it won't hurt my future plans since I got enough to help me through a couple of trips I want to go on, but other than that, I'm pretty much broke.  So much for getting a new computer any time soon.

A common feeling knowing I have many PC games I cannot even run.  Worse since I got no PS3.
Oh well, at least I can still support myself in terms of driving around, feeding myself, and cleaning myself up.  I've been hearing about unemployment benefits and how it can help me when I'm out of the job, but for the past few days I came to the realization that being without a job to do and gaining a consistent source of income makes me feel empty as a person.  I hope to change that next week as there are a few openings at a variety of places down where I live.  I can still live with how I am for the time being until then.  School is also handing me my butt, half it due to demotivation and the other half due to not having the time to dedicate to it due to other personal issues.  So I am trying what I can to combat this to the best of my ability.

On the upside, I do have good news to bring.  Sometime before the unexpected lay-off (it was at the last minute!), me and my friend, Shadowsnake123, discovered a game store aptly titled Game Over over at San Antonio.  You may have heard of this store from a video by ScrewAttack from 2007 who did a special video for the store.  It's actually really amazing.  When I first walked in, it was a slice of heaven.  They had games, accessories, decors, hardware and everything related to retro and newer games.  Oh and they do trade ins of about anything video game related.  And I mean anything...

I had a Mario themed one they actually accepted...
Now with an easier access to earlier games and even systems (should I ever get the money.  My sights are set on that Sega Saturn, Virtual Boy and N-Gage... if anyone actually had one to trade in), I can find some of the best (and worse) titles at this store, from atari and above.  It is a truly amazing place to be at.

Finally, I have been thinking about Connecticon recently and about how I have yet to post any further videos past part eight (that ended while Shadowsnake123 and scxcr were playing Bloody Roar 4, and lillylivers was cooking dinner), and about how I have yet, to this day, posted any further videos of the events that occurred at the convention.  In short, since part eight, I fell ill, the guys took care of me, then I lost my badge somehow so I could not really do anything on sunday other than sit around and walk as lillylivers was not able to participate at a panel and just walked around through out the remainder of the day.  At least the other guys had fun.  Afterwards, me and shadowsnake123 hanged out at wellunreal007's house, watched Despicable Me at theaters, played House of the Dead, a bit of Rock Band 2, even watched a couple of Phelous' reviews (I was just starting to know of him at the time, and since then became one of the main reasons I visit the That Guy with the Glasses website), a Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers episode and the Tom and Jerry movie (yes, he had it, on VHS no less, and yes, it is not a very good movie).  Fun times were had.  So then, the question is: is it going to happen again?  Oh you bet.  Despite my financial set backs, I already got my plane tickets, pre-purchased a badge early on, and even got a room reserved with a friend of mine helping me by paying for half of it, with two of my other friends covering another room.  There is no way I am backing from this trip.

If I find the time, I'll try to update my blog.  Until then, have a good day.
